141. Is Gallente really that bad? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Originally by: Omara Otawan countered quite easy by a small nos. I'm going to have to call bull**** on this one. Originally by: Omara Otawan As far as Brutix and Thorax go, small combat drones and especially ecm drones work p...

142. Is Gallente really that bad? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Originally by: Omara Otawan No, it illustrates that the archaic tracking system is in dire need of an upgrade. The tracking buff you are asking for is a band-aid that just breaks the game in other places. Keep in mind that increased trac...

143. Is Gallente really that bad? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Of course it's better to approach with a vigilant and ctrl-space with the CURRENT game mechanics, but the fact that orbiting severely hinders your dps with a point-blank weapon system illustrates how badly blasters need a tracking buff.

144. Is Gallente really that bad? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Originally by: Aloe Cloveris Vigilant I had one and absolutely loved it, but even with ion blasters and a 90% web I could not orbit a cruiser-sized target and actually track it with antimatter, and this was with motion prediction V! N...

147. Where has small gang pvp gone - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
All I hear in this thread is "QQ" Just because you're too big of a coward to FC, or your blob group can't fight without 40 people doesn't mean that small gang PvP doesn't exist. Don't like the blob? Take your own damn fleet out and stop complain...

They'll just be 4 new frigate hulls. What a bunch of alarmists.

149. Small gang inty tactics - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Looks nice Mercan! I did something similar with an Ares, but judging by the slot layout I think that the Stiletto would pull it off better. Cap can be an issue but the TD can hold out longer than most would think.

151. Small gang inty tactics - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Generally, Minmatar boats and AML Caracals are what you should stay away from. GENERALLY. As for your "zig-zagging", you're on the right track. What you're asking about is how to "burn transverally". If you go directly towards a target on a 0 deg...

I guess you could say it's a thorax/vexor hybrid with some sex mixed in.

The Gallente have an excellent frigate line-up if you're into small ships.

It's just the tracking on the medium and large guns. Just un-nerf the tracking and the niche is maintained.

156. Solo PVP: Which do you prefer - Ishtar ot Navy Vexor (and why) ? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Like NoNah said, they're two very different boats. If you really want to solo in a Gallente cruiser, I would go with the Ishtar. It's much more flexible with its utility high-slots and extra mid-slots, not to mention the gigantic dronebay and 125...

Scrams/Webs should be your mids, I wouldn't waste mid slots with unbonused damps.
